Rangers defeated their opponents Aberdeen 2-0 in their first game after the winter break. They deservedly defeated their rivals and have now overtaken Dons in the Scottish Premiership log. With the victory, the Gers are now in the second spot.

The Graeme Murty led side started the game strongly from the onset. They passed the ball around and got comfortable. Jamie Murphy then setup Josh Windass for the first chance of the game but the 20-yards out shot didn’t net. He soon got another chance after combining with Dons.
